First of all, you must have the task that you are working with finished. Once you have time to write the new, tell your teacher you are thinking about writing a new and the topic of it. If the teacher agrees, you can start writing it on a draft. When you finish writing the draft, show it to your teacher. If any change is necessary, your teacher will correct the draft with you and after that, the teacher will show you where do you have to write the final new.
